How to load and secure your cargo properly?
When loading bulky cargo or equipment, it is important to pay attention to safety and distribute the load correctly:
Weight distribution: Place heavier items (e.g. paving, bags of concrete or compost) at the bottom and closer to the centre of the van. This will give the vehicle better stability while driving.
Protection against damage: Use blankets, cardboard or old plastic sheeting to prevent scratching the furniture or damaging the upholstery.
Securing the load: Use straps or ratchet straps to hold things firmly in place. This will prevent items from shifting on bends, which could be dangerous.
